Workbench C / private notebook

A simple egg log.

Keep one count per date. Missing days stay missing; the summary never assumes they were zero. This is an organisational notebook, not a flock-health assessment.

Add or update a day

Recording an existing date replaces its count. An entered zero is a recorded day.

Optional, off by default. A saved log is local to this browser and website; it does not sync or back up. Untick to remove the stored copy while keeping the current on-screen log. Clearing site data also removes it.

JavaScript is needed to use this notebook.

No recorded days yet.

CSV exports contain only date and count. Export regularly if you want a separate copy. There is no import function.

Read the pattern, without guessing the cause

The total adds only the entries you made. The average divides that total by recorded dates, including dates with an explicit zero. “Latest seven recorded dates” means entries, not a calendar week; a long gap may sit between two entries. The log makes no prediction of tomorrow’s eggs.

Changes in a flock deserve observation beyond an egg count. Keep useful care notes separately and seek appropriate veterinary advice if you are concerned about a bird. This tool cannot explain a change or diagnose illness. It also does not replace any legally required flock, movement or disease-control records.

Optional browser storage is convenient for a short daily routine, but it is not permanent. Private browsing, clearing data, moving between the temporary Pages address and your domain, or using another device can produce an empty log. Save a CSV before making those changes.
